Karen's desire is to assist individuals and organisations in discovering their true potential. She does this through encouraging people to think and feel about what is truly important and possible. Depending on the need and environment, she will use a variety of ways to help individuals expand their existing and often limiting patterns; for example by holistic coaching & development sessions that are unique for each person or group of people, reaching into  our unlimited being and assisting people to release their own energy. Karen also uses open dialogue for sharing experiences - in talks and participatory group discussion, and she facilitates at events and meetings.

Karen has a 'service' background, having spent several years in hotel management and then the retail sector. As Managing Director of a £8+m turnover company, she grew the profit by over 50% in five years, (increasing from 20 - 60 employees). Karen was responsible for developing the strategy, budget and the operation of the company in a competitive market place.

Her business and academic experience combined with her natural intuitive skills prove valuable in her current work, which is; life coaching, mentoring, business consultancy, personal development workshops and lecturing. Karen’s approach is generally highly interactive and during workshops will act as a facilitator for the group, assisting people to create a dialogue and discover their own answers and conclusions.

Following 25 years of extensive senior management business experience - spanning multi-national corporate through to entrepreneurial start-up - Fran decided to explore her own reason for being . She found out what made her eyes light up - coaching adults and young adults (17-21) to create and live their own version of success.   To become sparkling role models both inside and outside the workplace.

Fran now offers a special blend of business experience coupled with a passion to help others achieve their greatest personal and business vision. She is considered by colleagues, clients and personal contacts to be a people person - curious to learn more about what makes herself, and others 'tick'.

Coaching Speciality - the SPARKLET programme

Fran works as a coach and mentor to directors and senior managers in both the public and private sectors, as well as entrepreneurial start-ups, and is also part of a new, pioneering life skills programme for young adults. She is deeply interested in helping people to identify with both performance achievement (business and personal) and personal congruency. She believes that self-leadership forms the foundation for success and fulfillment, as well as for leading others with confidence and ease. Her unique coaching programme, SPARKLET, starts with the fundamental question "Who am I?"  

Fran's coaching style is a natural, refreshing blend of technique and intuition. She applies proven coaching methods alongside her own leadership models and develops a personally tailored approach to address the specific expectations, issues and sensitivities, of each client.

Fran is a member of the UK College of Coaching (UKCLC) and an accredited Corporate Coach with the UK College of Executive Coaching. She also has a diploma in Performance Coaching (Business).
